Hi, I'm Ciaran Hyland!

I am a Professional Animator, Compositor & Scene Prep Artist, worked on multiple professional studio projects.

Over 2 and 1/2 years professional experience in the animation industry, working within both small and large teams, on feature film and shows for streaming, including Netflix & Amazon Prime. Proficient in industry level software, including the Adobe software suite & CC, Toon Boom Harmony, Moho and Shotgun/ShotGrid. Comfortable working on my own or with a team.

As a child I love cartoons and they inspired me to draw and throughout my life I drew and painted and created on and off, never thinking it could be something I could have a career in.

In 2014, I made a plan to become an animator. I applied and was accepted to Kilkenny Ormonde College's Fine Art – Portfolio Preparation Level 5 course and really developed as an artist. From there, I applied to LIT Clonmel for their DIgital Animation Production course and was accepted and the course has had a profound impact on my education and artistic development.
